My name is Dr. Josiah Pratt. I grew up in Northern Ontario, Canada, where I first discovered my passion for dentistry. Watching my older brother work as a dentist, sparked my early interest in the field, and it quickly became clear that this was the path I wanted to follow. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Dalhousie University, which gave me a solid foundation in the sciences and further fueled my interest in health care. I went on to complete my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. As a dentist, I’m committed to providing care that is not only effective, but also compassionate and patient-centered. I truly enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their oral health. Whether it’s a routine check-up or a more complex procedure, I take pride in creating a positive experience every step of the way. Originally from out of the area, I’m proud to now call this community home. My wife and I chose to settle here to be close to her family and the place where she grew up. We’re grateful to put down roots in such a welcoming area. I’m passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care and building long-term relationships with my patients, and I look forward to serving this community for many years to come.

Graduating with distinction from Nova Southeastern University in 2008 was just the beginning of my journey towards shaping a career centered around patient, innovation, and proficiency. With more than 16 years of experience under my belt, I’ve become a trusted figure in general dentistry. I make it my mission to keep up with the latest advancements, ensuring that each patient receives tailored and cutting-edge care. From IV Dental Sedation to the smallest details of treatment, I approach every procedure with compassion and meticulous attention. Despite relocating to Michigan from Florida in 2019 to prioritize family time, my dedication to providing exceptional dental care remains unwavering. I am deeply committed to serving my community with integrity an professionalism, standing as a beacon of excellence in the dental profession.

• Graduated with Honors from Detroit Mercy with BS in Biology at the young age of 19
